Highland Spring’s consumer press campaign for 2010 builds on the successful Iconic Love advertising which ran during 2009. The big idea behind our advertising this year - as before - is that if you really care for someone, you’ll give them the best. This year, there is more emphasis on the organic status of the land from which our water is drawn - and the purity of the water itself.
The iconic image from Lassie Come Home - the classic movie from 1943 - shows a young Roddy McDowall receiving a bottle of Highland Spring from man’s best friend. The image symbolises the purity of our water - after all when it comes to nurturing our loved ones, only the water from organic land will do.
The catchment area for Highland Spring is our own carefully protected land in the beautiful Ochil Hills of Perthshire in Scotland. No farming, building or transportation is allowed there, and no pesticides or chemicals are used. By protecting and nurturing the land for over twenty years, we’ve attained organic status, certified by the Soil Association. We believe this means our water is as pure as can be.
